Our 4th Trip-June 2023

The Trip in 2023 was very exciting!! It included a trip to Jinga to see the source of the Nile River, then a field trip to the Saint Elizabeth's National Park where the students and teachers were able to take a river tour and a game ride to see various animals. For many of the students and teachers, this was their first trip outside of their local village or town of Fort Portal. It was about a two hour bus ride. Additionally, the school sponsored a Sports Day and Run4Water dedicated their new well is support of the Kaguma Community.

Karen Jennings and Keith Seaman made their annual trip there, and they were also joined by Martha Shepard and Jennifer Berube and Tara Jennings who all did great things for the school while they were there. We worked on construction projects, corrective actions from the Audit, and provided feedback to the teachers and taught some new teaching methods.
